HISTORY AND VISION OF THE PARENTAL ORGANISATION:
With the blessing of God almighty, DELHI MAR THOMA PUBLIC SCHOOL, KUTTRABOD PAMGARH has completed 7 years of its commitment towards the society of pamgarh and surrounding villages’ .Our journey started way back in June 2009 with a few students and some staff. We follow the CBSE pattern of education in our school. Slowly and steadily we are overcoming the struggle of a running a quality. We bow our heads in gratitude and honour before the ardent love and dedication with which our predecessors brought this institution thus far. From a humble beginning with kindergarten children and some dedicated staff. The school has grown to 8th standard. We have achieved recognition from the Chhattisgarh govt. Educational department on July 17, 2014.
We remember to thanks all the people who have supported us in making this dream come true. His lordship Rt. Rev. Dr. Gregorios Mar Stephanos Episcopa, the chairman of a institution. We thank our chairmen for the encouragement and guidance.Our effort is to fulfil our responsibility towards creating a society free from injustice, prejudices and bias based on gender, caste and creed. In this academic session we had admitted 90 students in different classes. All together we have 540 students, 17 teaching staff, 1 care taker and 3 housekeeping staff doing their brilliant services for the school.
SCHOLASTIC ACTIVITIES:
Education is the foundation of a civilized society. Each aspect of school life provides an avenue for the learners to grow to their full potential. During the following session we held 3 examinations along with monthly test for assessing the students knowledge.
Co-SCHOLASTIC ACTIVITIES:
Education is not simply imparting knowledge and information but empowering the children to grow towards wholeness which comprise of psychological, physical, emotional, social aspects as well . Education that foresters creativity promotes critical thinking and develops communicational skill in the need of the hour. hence apart from scholastic side we also concentrates in the field of extracurricular activities and various competition like Dance, Debate, Poem, Story were held in the following session .
SPORTS:
India is a country filled with various talented individual in sports and for encouraging this we had a grand sports week started from 2-9th November 2016. Various sports like shot-put, long jump, athletics, cricket match, 4x100 relay was organised. Our children got various prizes for various events.
CELEBRATIONS:
During the academic session various celebration were held in the school campus like independence day , Teacher’s day , republic day, children’s day, Christmas celebrations. This all were observed with customary zeal and enthusiasm
ANNUAL DAY CELEBRATION:
Our annual day ‘DINOVA 2K17’ was celebrated on 31st January 2017. His lordship Rt. Rev. Gregorios Mar Stephanos Episcopa, the chairman of the institution blessed the event with his presence. Various cultural events were performed by our students followed prize distribution ceremony to our students for their their Excellency in sports.
INFRASTRUCTURE
During the last academic session as part of the school progress with the grace of his almighty construction of the 1st floor was completed. Thus to make education more effective we started smart class education to our students and this coming year we are starting a special smart class for spoken English to make our students to have a effective command on the language.
PARENTS TEACHER MEET
In order to accomplish better development of the students, parents’ teachers meeting were organized periodically. This also helped us to develop a strong bond with the parents.
SPECIAL VISIT:
The school academic year was made memorable by the visit of many eminent dignitaries. we express sincere thanks and heartfelt gratitude to Rt. Rev. Dr. Gregorios Mar Stephanos Episcopa for his visit.
Finally, this may be the best moment to rededicate ourself to do our best to serve the society through quality education . We seek blessing from God almighty to help and guide us. We hope to make this journey an eventful one. We anticipate the earnest support of all of you to this end.
